Adobe Creative Jam Vegas - Something from Nothing

Winner Best Photography - Adobe Creative Jam 2016 - Las Vegas. Photographers and cinematographers were given 24 hours to convey the theme "Something from Nothing." I shot a variety of different subjects that day, starting with my sons class, to my neighbor and then people I met on Fremont Street. Focusing on a single theme, meeting new people and narrowing things down to just one photo was a fun process. I chose this first image as my entry with the idea to show music as something intangible.

Bronson is a gifted violinist, which is the best kind of musician to have as a neighbor. On sunny days we can hear amazing sounds in the air that were not there before. Bronson describes music as a universal language and gravitated towards it at an early age. When he is fully in the moment, playing violin, he feels as though the notes are moving through him
